01 / The result

What changed, in numbers.

0
Cost per booked job
Same budget, more booked work
Spend held, output up
Fewer tire-kicker calls
Better qualified inquiries

One number is the one that matters here. The rest is what the crew noticed, not something a report can put a percentage on.

02 / The challenge

Seattle roofing, where clicks are expensive.

Roofing in Seattle is one of the most competitive markets in the country. Every established contractor is bidding on the same searches, so a click costs real money and a wasted one costs the same as a good one.

In that kind of auction you do not win by spending more. You win by sending traffic to a page that converts and by paying only for the searches that turn into work on a roof. The site and the campaigns had to be fixed together, because fixing either one alone would not move the number that matters.

03 / What we did

Four pieces of the same job.

01 A site built to book jobs Rebuilt around one action: request an inspection. Fast pages, clear service areas, proof of finished roofs, and a form short enough that a homeowner on a phone will actually finish it.
02 Google Ads rebuilt around intent Campaigns split by the job a person is actually searching for, with the searches that never turn into work cut out. Landing pages match the search instead of dumping everyone on the homepage.
03 Meta for the demand that is not searching yet Local targeting and real job photography for homeowners who know the roof is aging but have not typed anything into Google. Cheaper attention, and it feeds the searches later.
04 Tracking down to the booked job Calls and forms tied back to the campaign that produced them, then reported in the live dashboard. Optimizing on booked jobs instead of clicks is what moved the cost.

05 / The outcome

Cheaper jobs, not cheaper clicks.

Cost per booked job came down 41%. That is the only number worth quoting, because it is the one that survives contact with a schedule and a crew.

The rest is qualitative and I will not put a number on it. Inquiries arrived better informed, the calls that came in were more often from people ready to schedule an inspection, and the team could see in the dashboard which campaign put each job on the calendar. In a market this expensive, knowing that is most of the advantage.

"We are not spending more. We are just spending it on the calls that turn into roofs."
